Dr. Jon Herting PT, DPT

Bio

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist Jon has worked with athletes of all levels from adolescent to Olympic level and is a part of USA Weightlifting’s Medical staff. Jon believes in a holistic approach to rehab and believes that the ultimate goal of the rehab process is patient autonomy. He believes that there is not a distinct line between rehab and the training process.

Jon currently owns and operates Precision Performance Physical Therapy with locations in Garnet Valley, Malvern and Philadelphia, PA. He has served as adjunct faculty at Widener University since 2014 and has developed several continuing education courses for clinicians and certified strength and conditioning professional based around assessment and rehabilitation techniques.

Troy Koch, PT, DPT

Bio

Troy Koch is a physical therapist with a background of participating and coaching with strength and conditioning and resistance training. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Widener University where his passion for working with athletes grew. To cultivate this, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Condition Association.

Since graduation, Troy has worked with athletes of all sports, ages, and calibers including professional and Olympic level. He has also worked with the Philadelphia Union to complete pre-season screenings. He uses his extensive knowledge in strength and condition and resistive training in his rehab processes. His philosophy centers on coming up with solutions and manipulating training variable to keep his athletes moving.

Troy has always been a natural leader and educator; as a result, has mentored numerous students and helped breed their hunger for working with athletes and active individuals. He has also created various return to sport protocols to help reduce the gap between rehab and performance across the health practitioner professions.
